My wife and I have been Disney Vacation Club members for going on two years now. We bought our membership with some money I received from my grandparents when my Grandpa passed away back in 2014. 

During that short time, we’ve already had some great trips – a Christmas overnight with my sister’s family, hosting family for Christopher’s 1st birthday, as well as our Beach Club Christmas vacation a few months ago. 

Tonight we were able to treat even more family to an evening at the Magic Kingdom as part of DVC’s 25th anniversary celebration this year. I love having yet another excuse to spend time with family at Disney, and every time we use our membership I’m reminded of my grandparents and I like to think they’d agree that investing in family fun was a good use of my inheritance. 😉
